Mumbai City FC is all set to sign East Bengal centre-back Mehtab Singh and Sikkemese goalkeeper Phurba Lachenpa.
Mehtab Singh plays for East Bengal in the Hero I- League. The 21 year old has played 10 games for the Kolkata based club this season so far. He has also played for Gokulam Kerala FC on loan from East Bengal. There was no looking back for this stopper thereafter.
There are rumors that Mumbai City's first choice centre-back Pratik Choudhary might join Bengaluru FC for the next season. Mumbai will be hoping to fill that void space with Mehtab Singh.
They are also planning to bring in Phurba Lachenpa from Real Kashmir. One of the biggest problems faced by MCFC was the absence of a proper backup keeper for Amrinder Singh. They will be hoping to resolve this problem with the signing of the 22 year old
