The 30 year old Lithuanian has been a part of Lithuanian top flight side Suduva FC. There are rumors that Kerala Blasters will be taken over by new investors. This appointment can be considered as a part of that deal.
Blasters who had another season to forget will be looking to reshape their future. The new role in the club's hierarchy will enable Skinkys to oversee recruitment, Foreign and Indian.
